Hi,
I am Cedric Millar, the Founder of Castle Glen, the Liqueur and Wine Maker. I personally oversee every part of Castle Glen Liqueurs and Vineyard's production and manufacturing processes. I am fully involved in growing the grapes and the fruit for production to the harvest and manufacture of all Castle Glen Products. You may have even met me serving you behind the bar at our Unique Cellar Door at Our Castle.
It is my personal mission to ensure Castle Glen Vineyard and Liqueurs produces the Best Quality Products for the Best Possible Price. Castle Glen is committed to continuing our tradition of providing our customers with World Class Products at a Price You Can Afford.
I invite you to visit our Unique Cellar Door, our very own 'Modern Day' Castle. Set in the heart of the Granite Belt at The Summit, 10 minutes north of Stanthorpe. Complete with stained-glass windows, a huge fire-place and our very own 'Official Gourmet Pie Taster' a Labrador named 'James' and his side-kick 'Samson' our woolly German Shephard. We welcome you to come and enjoy some FREE TASTINGS of some of our vast product range, with a truly unique experience.
Or perhaps you could take a trip to visit our Unique Store in the heart of Montville. Montville is beautifully situated on the Blackall Range in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland offering exceptional views. We also offer FREE TASTINGS of our fantastic products at our Montville Store.

Our Vision for Castle Glen Vineyard is to continue to produce High Quality, Chemical Free, Sulphur Free, great tasting Red Wines, White Wines, Sparkling Wines and Fortified Wines. Giving people around the world the opportunity to taste and enjoy our quality product for many years to come.
Our Mission for Castle Glen Liqueurs and Castle Glen Vineyard is to continue to produce the best quality products at an affordable price. To make products that are better than our competitors, in quality, price and taste. To continue to be innovative and keep improving our methods of production, manufacture and distribution.
Castle Glen Values People and We Care About the Impact We Have on the Environment Around Us. We value good old fashioned service. We only produce products that we readily consume ourselves. We use low-impact methods of production and manufacture to reduce our effect on the environment. We value input and feedback from our customers, enabling us to know what customers want in all aspects of our business. There is no such thing as "Can't Do It!".
The History of Castle Glen
1990
First there was Castle Glen Vineyard, established in 1990. Castle Glen Vineyard was the fifth vineyard in the Granite Belt Region in Queensland, Australia. In the first 5 years the vineyard was established, planting Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Semillon, and White Muscat grapes.
1994-1995
Our Famous 'Modern Day' Castle, was Built by Our Founder, Wine and Liqueur Maker, Cedric Millar. Our unique Castle was built in 1994 and opened to the public in June 1995.
At these beginnings Castle Glen sold Red Wine, White Wine, Sparkling Wine and Fortified Wine or Port of a 1994 & 1995 Vintage. Our Cool Climate, Chemical Free, All Natural Wines were in such great demand that Castle Glen would sell out before the end of 'the season'. If Castle Glen Wines were loved so much, what other products could be produced that people could enjoy and fill the demand? The answer. Creating Fruit Wines and Fruit Liqueurs.
1996
In 1996 Castle Glen began Producing and Manufacturing Fruit Wines and Developing Fruit Liqueurs. Sales of our Fruit Wines and Fruit Liqueurs very quickly overtook the sales of all of our wines. Customer demand and the establishment of many new wineries in Australia saw Castle Glen take a very bold step.
2000
In the year 2000 Castle Glen Liqueurs Pty Ltd was born. This new company was established with the purpose of manufacturing Premium, World-Class Liqueurs. Expanding and creating a larger manufacturing area with more machinery to meet the increase in production of over 200 tonnes of fresh fruit for liqueurs, alongside the production of over 55 tonnes of grapes for wine, sparkling wine and fortified wine.
Castle Glen's Liqueur manufacture is based on the 'Traditional English Method', using Raw Natural Products. We use the process of fermentation instead of distillation to produce our high quality product. The liqueurs are all naturally Chemical Free.
2004
The next big expansion happened in 2004 with the Granting of an Excise Licence. An Excise Licence gives Castle Glen the right to manufacture excisable product, giving us the opportunity to manufacture any product in the world. Castle Glen Liqueurs is One of Only a Few companies in Australia who have licence to manufacture an Unlimited Volume of Any Alcoholic Product - both excisable and non-excisable. This gives Castle Glen Liqueurs the ability to continue establishing itself as a significant player in the Australian and International market place.
2005
What happens when you start producing lots of alcohol? You need to bottle it. In 2005 relationships were established with manufacturers of glass in Italy. Importing Italian glass bottles help us to ensure pricing and quality control.
2006
In 2006 Castle Glen started Exporting Sparkling Wines, Fortified Wines and Liqueurs to China. Castle Glen is establishing itself in the export markets of other Asian countries. Delegates from countries like Korea, Japan and Canada have visited the Cellar Door at Castle Glen to taste our many fantastic products.
2008
We became Castle Glen Australia Pty Ltd. In order to keep up with expansion we decided to give Our Business a name that would clear the confusion. Not only do we produce World Class Liqueurs, we produce High Quality Wines, Fortified Wines, Sparkling Wines, Fudges, Vinegars, Jams, Relishes and Specialty Products. And of course We are an All Australian Company!
We launched our fantastic NEW Website with some great new features and a shopping cart to buy our products. Our All NEW Newsletter, with all the latest news, products and happenings at Castle Glen.
We launched our NEW Wine Club - Liqueur Club. Monthly specials on cartons of 375ml bottles of our famous liqueurs and wines.
Our entirely scrumptious NEW Liqueur Fudges are made the old fashioned way with real chocolate, sugar, butter and of course our Famous Liqueurs.
In 2008 we produced our NEW, specially produced, Custom-Made Italian Bottles with our name 'Castle Glen Liqueurs' distinctly moulded into the glass. Now there is no mistaking our fantastic Castle Glen Products!
